SSO Plus 3.0.1.54

SSO Plus automatically learns the IDs and passwords a user types in when accessing web sites and desktop applications. The next time the application is run, the ID and password are entered automatically. This enables users to use more complicated and consequently stronger passwords as they no longer need to remember them or write them down. Unlike other products that off this service, SSO Plus is fully automated both in detecting when to learn new passwords and when to replay them.

"I loaded SSO Plus. Did not like it. Tried to remove it and it still remains on my system. Could not get rid of it. Passgo did not want to be bothered with helping me remove it.
The application sets insecure default permissions, granting the Windows "Everyone" user group "Full Control" on the 'PassGo Technologies' directory. A local user can modify files in the directory to include arbitrary code. Then, when the target user runs the SSO Plus application, the arbitrary code will be executed with the privileges of the target user.
The vendor was notified on November 11, 2006.
Secunia Research discovered this vulnerability."
