gcTool2 is a program in Windows environment for the calculation of Interaction diagrams and the design of short columns.
To simplify data capture, especially those related to the location of steel reinforcement, the program has a catalog of predefined cross sections (if the cross section you require is not in the catalog of the program, you may request to be included and we will endeavor to add it).
You can obtain the P-M interaction diagrams and Mx-My moment contours, nominal or reduced, allowing you to get a listing with the values of angle and position of neutral axis for each point calculated.
The design, calculation of reinforcement ratio, can be made for up to 999 values of Pu-Mux-Muy.
The program can work in different systems of units. It has incorporated the Building codes ACI 318-99 and ACI 318-08.
