MathToWeb End user license agreement
Software licence agreement governing MathToWeb
MathToWeb is Freeware.
Author: Paul Hunter
Where not explicitly stated, the term "software" refers to the MathToWeb software.
This includes all files comprising the program itself as well as all its supporting software
and documentation including all software and documentation used for its installation.
Paul Hunter is willing to licence this software to you only
upon the condition that you accept all of the terms contained in this licence
agreement (henceforth referred to as the "agreement"). Please read the
agreement carefully. By installing and/or using
the software, you agree to be bound by its terms. If you
do not agree to the terms of the agreement, do not install and/or use the software.
Restrictions and Copyright:
The software MathToWeb is confidential and protected by copyright laws and
international treaty provisions, as well as other intellectual property laws
and treaties.
Unless enforcement is prohibited by applicable law,
you may not modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the software.
Distribution:
You are hereby licensed to make unmodified copies of the installation software
(installation executables and/or jar file(s))
providing that it is done for the sole purpose of distributing it to others for
evaluation. You are expressly
prohibited from selling, sublicensing, requesting donations, renting, leasing, pledging,
or charging in any way for such copies, howsoever
made, without obtaining express prior written permission from Paul Hunter with
no exceptions (see the contact information below). You may not directly or indirectly
offer or transmit only portions of the software.
You may offer the software to your customers as promotional material on CDs or DVDs
or other electronic media, if for example, you are a magazine or journal publisher or
some other type of media publisher. The key point is that you may not directly request
money (or the equivalent) for the software itself. Distributing the software in a way that
increases its exposure, and benefits the distributor, is just fine and, in fact, is
greatly appreciated. If you are unsure about a certain promotional idea, please
feel free to use the contact link below. Enquiries are welcome.
Limitation of Liability:
To the extent not prohibited by law, in no
event will Paul Hunter or his authorized agents be liable for any lost revenue,
profit or data or for special, indirect, consequential, incidental
or punitive damages or for injuries (human or other animal) or physical damage
(property or otherwise), howsoever caused regardless of the theory of
liability, arising out of or related to the use of or inability to
use the software or out of or related to any information and/or
instructions that Paul Hunter or his authorized agents furnish with regard to
the program`s downloading, installation, setup and/or use, even if Paul Hunter and/or
or his authorized agents have been advised of the possibility
of such damages.
In regions where exclusion and/or limitation of liability is not permitted,
Paul Hunter or his authorized agents shall, in no way, be liable for damages
exceeding the price paid for the software licence.
You acknowledge that the software may not be error-free and, therefore, take
upon yourself, all responsibility for ensuring that any data obtained from the
the software is used in such a way so as to not cause injury or physical damage.
