Backup2 USB is a powerful backup program for Windows that lets you save your backups to USB/Firewire devices or other removable/external drives. Backup2 USB can backup open/locked files and it can perform four different backup types: full backup, differential backup, incremental backup and mirror backups. When defining a backup job you can set file filters to selectively back-up your data. Once a backup is performed, you can see what files have been changed since the last backup or you can read the statistics about the next backup execution. Backup2 USB lets you add predefined backup jobs that will automatically back-up specific programs, settings or data, such as: My Documents, My Pictures, Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Internet Favorites. Backup2 USB has ZIP64 support (can create backups over 2 GB) and creates standard zip files, meaning that you can access it with any zip compatible utility. Backup2 USB also allows you to encrypt your backup to protect it from unauthorized access.

Backup2 USB keeps track of file versions. You can easily restore any version of files or a whole folder. You can filter files to be restored.
