It has web interface with the identical appearance and controls on the local and distant computers. Customers see MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that surveillance server can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all units work as independent applications. If one component stops working, other modules go on running. For instance if the `record` unit fails, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` unit. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart workstation through Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
