Junk email (a.k.a. spam) is a part of everyone`s life if they ever put their email address on the web. For HTML authors, site admins, and for people who want a little credit on the page that they put online, it is a constant problem. You want to include your email address on the page, but you don`t want your email address to be harvested by spambots.
If you own a site on the web, you`re practically guaranteed to get spammed, right? This conventional wisdom has held true for a long time; with the proliferation of automatic "spambot" programs that suck the email addresses out of every site they visit, it is usually only a matter of days between the launch of your site and your first spam.
There is an effective solution to the problem. It`s easy to implement and - most importantly - it works! The best thing you can do is encode your email address so that browsers can see it and spambots can not. This is what this tool does.
How it works: our tool will replace all your e-mail addresses on your page with specially encoded email addresses. The AEVITA Stop SPAM Email introduces codes that spambots will "choke" on, but which a normal mailing program ignores. Therefore people can still send you email but spammers can`t get your address!
The coded email address will work on just about any browser out there. The user does not need to have Java or JavaScript enabled for it to work.
But this is not all - the AEVITA Stop SPAM Email can even attack spammers by generating large lists of fake email addresses. Spammers have to validate addresses they have, so if they will have a lot of false email addresses in their lists, their life will get strongly complicated.
