CryptoSafe 2.0.1

CryptoSafe uses a combination of strong symmetric and asymmetric encryption, thereby being secure and fast. Every file is encrypted by unique symmetric key (AES - key 256 bits or 3DES - key 168 bits) that is encrypted by public component of non-symmetric key RSA. The private part of the non-symmetric key (length up to 2 048 bits) is securely saved on hardware key and it is accessible only via smart card or USB token chip, the use of which is protected by a PIN.
CryptoSafe provides on-line encryption of files saved in protected (encrypted) local or shared directories. Encryption of a particular file proceeds by simply copying or saving its into a protected directory, so it is very easy for usage. It is impossible to open a protected directory without an appropriate smart card or USB tokens, so unauthorized person could not at all identify files contained in protected directory.

Cipher keys are secure saved on cryptography smart card or USB tokens, from where it is not possible to export them. In case the smart card (or USB token) is stolen with computer, the robber can to guess the PIN only several times over, and then the smart card is blocked and useless for decryption.
CryptoSafe enables to encrypt only selected directories and files, so process is very fast. Encryption and decryption runs so quickly, that it is possible to watch a film stored in encrypted form. Company presentations, documents, tables and other files could be secure stored and easy used.
Protected folders can be accessible both only one person and group of users. It is possible to create for one user a number of protected directories, each of which is encrypted different cipher key, so each is accessible to different group of persons.
CryptoSafe is available on English and Czech language, but it could be translated on other languages at short time.
