Create unlimited Hotshots while stepping, playing or scrolling a movie. Return to any point instantly by clicking on a Hotshot. Create Markers from Hotshots, then Clips from Markers, in two rapid steps. Optionally batch export those Clips in QuickTime files, with automatic file naming, or simply use the clips directly in iMovie/FCP. SMPTE Timecode for navigation logging and spotting. Export Clip/Marker logging notes complete with timecode to database applications. First Cut boasts a completely new concept of movie transport control. The timeline and mouse driven movie controller are obsolete and are replaced with variable-degree fixed-time increments.
