nessViewer combines functionality of DVD / QuickTime Player and Preview, offers a MediaCenter with direct access to local media and many internet media providers, includes functionality to edit, arrange and present media and offers a media server to transfer or stream media to nessViewer App e.g. on the iPhone.

Edit media: Through the working tools movies can be cut, joined, converted and exported for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or AppleTV. Pictures can be rotated or croped. Pages can be extracted from PDF documents and contents converted into various formats. A swap to specific media software is not necessary.

Arrange media: The media shows of nessViewer allow it to arrange media like pictures or movies as playlists and to save it for (later) presentation. In addition to the access to media from iPhoto or local volumes, internet media can be integrated without having to download them (DailyMotion, MySpace, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.).

Present media: nessViewer presents pictures, DVDs, movies and PDFs in various ways: via drag and drop, menu functions, the Apple remote control, media shows, the MediaCenter or media server. The automatic presentation of a newly inserted CD, DVD or other removable media is possible through the auto start system function.

MediaCenter: The MediaCenter offers a lot of internet media: e.g. Arte, BBC, DailyMotion, FreeMoviesCine, Austrian / German / Netherlands / Swiss television, LastFM, live broadcasting, Miro video podcasts, YouTube. Through the functionality of "virtual playlist", plenty of different media can be easily selected and continuously presented afterwards.

Media server: The media server allows it to transfer media (e.g. pictures, movies) between Mac and iPad / iPhone / iPod touch. The free of charge nessViewer App can access the media server either via FTP client or via the MediaCenter. A highlight of the media server is the possibility to stream media directly e.g. to an iPad: instead of transfering all the data before starting the presentation, the media can be streamed in small segments. Thru AirPlay it is also possible to present media, which is e.g. stored on iPhone, on Mac.

Comfortable handling by remote control: pictures, movies, DVDs, PDFs, media shows or online content can be presented straightforwardly by nessViewer. Thus your Mac turns into a perfect home cinema.

Predicted future versions and notices:

The doDownload.com constantly monitors the update of all programs, including information from the nessViewer 3.3 changelog file, however sometimes it can happen that data are not complete or are outdated.We assume that author continue's to develop 3.4 version with further advanced features, and soon you will be informed. Equally important 4.0 upgrades of the program we will continue to monitor.
